Hebrews!!! And that's not even the raunchiest book in the Bible. See it's all in there folks. Read it. There's some good stuff in there. The writer is exhorting the faithful not to be downhearted when you are disciplined. It's actually a quite uplifting statement. If you don't know the discipline of sons then you aren't sons but spoiled rotten brats or what he said.
Unfortunately, that doesn't give me the license to unleash my foul tongue which now that I think about it, I probably need to curtail a bit more than I do...
